About Us

Greetings from Freedom Axle Distribution;

There is a good chance that we have already met and you know about our company and what we do, but for those of you who haven’t let me tell you a little about our company and its history.

Freedom Axle Distribution began selling trailer parts in 1991 in McKinney, Texas. We started with a few key parts, such as leaf springs and hanger kits, and sold them to the trailer manufactures in the Mt. Pleasant and Paris, Texas area. After a year of dealing with these trailer manufacturers directly, I realized that there was a need for a good full line distributor. In 1993 we started selling axles, couplers, jacks, lights and all related items to fill that need to the trailer manufacturers.

In 1994 Freedom Axle Distribution opened a location in Sikeston, Missouri, and in 1998 another location in Falkville, Alabama, which is now our corporate location. We have since then opened an additional location in Ocala, Florida  to help serve customers in the southeast.

Our company has tried to stay focused on the Cargo, Gooseneck and Utility trailer lines, so that we may offer a better parts supply to our customers than our competition, and that has worked well for both us and our customers. We are also associated with several sister companies such as Freedom Axle Inc., Freedom Machine and Sikeston Fender. These relationships have greatly reduced our lead times, improved our quality and reduced your cost. We look for big things in the future years with these companies now in place.

Since entering “The New Millennium and the 9-11 Attacks” we, at Freedom Axle Distribution, realize the new direction of business today, and our focus will be on the following areas:

    1.  Quality: We have in the past, and will continue in the future, offering our customers the
finest and safest products available in the trailer industry today.

    2.  Service: Freedom Axle Distribution brought service to a new level when it entered
parts distribution business back in 1991. Today we continue to work hard at keeping our
service the best in the industry.

    3.  JIT: Just In Time Inventories go hand in hand with service and cost reductions. It is
more important today, than ever, to keep inventories low, due to the fact that a low
inventory increases cash flow. We, at Freedom Axle Distribution, know that too much
inventory seems to disappear, gets damaged and decreases cash flow. Too little
inventory can shut a company down. We continue to work with our customers on
ordering right the first time, and we work to deliver what is ordered on time.

    4.  Price: We know today, as we did in 1991, that our price has to be competitive for us to even be considered as your parts supplier.

Our goal is to continue to provide our customers the very best products, prices and service for years to come.

Sincerely,

David G. Temples
